She was a 1950 graduate of Ottawa Township High School. She owned and operated the Delmar Beauty Bar in Ottawa and later the Delwood Beauty Shop in her home. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, its Altar and Rosary Society and the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Susan of Tuscon, Ariz.; three sons, Mike (Jean) of Tokyo, Japan, Marty (Karen) of St. Peters, Mo., and Mark of Ottawa; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a sister, Jan (Jim) Smalley of Dwight; and a brother, Donald Martin of Florida.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Elzer.
