Lexie was born and died in Monroe Co while it was still part of VA. Although her death record states her birth as Albemarle Co VA, that is believed to be in error. Her parents came to Monroe in 1795 and there is no record of them returning to Albemarle after that time. Lexie died in a typhoid epidemic at Peterstown, as did her husband.
