Gertrude Bowser, 89, formerly of Red Hill, died Friday in Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Ernest Bowser.
She was employed at the former Woodson Dairy, Red Hill, for 10 years until retiring in 1975. Before that she and her husband owned E.R. Bowser Ribbon Co., Red Hill, for 20 years.
Born in Patterson, N.J., she was a daughter of the late William and Mary Van Duren, and a stepdaughter of the late JoAnn (Kaiser) Van Duren.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Red Hill, where she was a former council member

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Long Funeral Home, 612 Main St., Red Hill. Call 10-11 a.m. Tuesday.
