This well respected, teacher, farmer, reverend, and doctor died at his home on the morning of 24 Mar 1925. There was no death certificate, but the following article was found:
Dr. Paul Patrick, postmaster at Althea, Ozark county, physician and minister of the Christian church, died at his home Tuesday morning from an attack of heart disease. He was an old time doctor as was his father before him and had lived all his life in Ozark county. [Not true: born in Kentucky, lived in Illinois and Arkansas prior to settling in Ozark County, and briefly took his family to Indian Territory before returning "home."] He is survived by his widow, two sons, Sam Patrick, of Althea, and Harold Patrick, of Globe, Ariz., and several daughters. He held a religious meeting only recently at the Homeland church south of West Plains and is known by many in this county.---West Plains Journal (West Plains, Missouri); Thu., 26 Mar 1925.
