Attica - Theresa E. (Tribby) Rhode, 58, formerly of Attica and had been residing in Lafayette, died unexpectedly at her home in Lafayette, on Wednesday, January 7, 2015.
Theresa was born in Lafayette, Indiana, on May 7, 1956. She was the daughter of the late Charles Thomas Tribby and Lee L. (Sipes) Tribby Watson. Theresa was raised in Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1974. She later received her degree in music from Lincoln Christian College. She has resided in Lafayette for the past 5 years.
Theresa had an online ministry called "Comfort Ministries." She enjoyed working as a social worker and ministering to people in need. She loved music and enjoyed singing, especially with her family at her side. Theresa enjoyed flower arranging and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She had been attending the Victory Christian Center in Lafayette.
Theresa leaves behind her husband of 38 ½ years, three children,
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Sunday, January 11th from 4-7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 12th, at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the Pine Village Cemetery, Pine Village, IN.
