Matt Mullen, one of the pioneers of Keystone, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wingett at Sand Creek, WI., last Tuesday night at the ripe old age of 86. The remains were brought here (Keystone) and interred in the Bob Creek Cemetery. He formerly owned the F. Ploaine farm. He leaves 3 daughters and 4 sons to mourn his death. Mrs. Donald Lemay of Cornell, Mrs. Wingett, Mrs. Arthur Bestrup of Saskatchewan, Canada, Dave Mullen of northern Minn., Isaac Mullen of Saskatchewan, Robert Mullen of the U.S. Navy and Clarence Comstock, a stepson of Keystone.
