Joshua was the son of Joel Bradford and Milley(Millie) Loveland.
The couple lived in Windham, Portage, Ohio when he was born.
He was the couples Twelfth child. He was born between Marvin and Joel Bradford Jr. The couple had possibly fourteen known children. Moved to Helena, Ark., July 25-27, thence to Clarendon August 13, and to Duvall's Bluff August 22. Steele's Expedition to Little Rock September 1-10.
