Professional Football Player. Born David Wesley Behrman, he attended Dowagiac High School in Michigan and played collegiate football at Michigan State University. During his years with the Spartans, he achieved All-Big Ten and All-American honors. Selected by the Bills during the 1st round of the 1963 AFL Draft, he played in 39 career regular season games. For three seasons (1963, 1965 and 1967), he played at the center and tackle positions with the Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos. He experienced an AFL Championship with Buffalo in 1965 and earned All-Pro honors that season. He died from pancreatic cancer.
