Services for Elaine Box Hodges, 88, of Pontotoc were Nov. 21, 2014, at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc with the Rev. Pete Gregory officiating. Burial was in Wood Springs Cemetery. She was born in Choctaw County to the late Earnest Lee and Pattie Box. Mrs. Hodges was a member of Turnpike Baptist Church in Pontotoc and a retired childcare provider. She died Nov. 18, 2014, at her daughter’s residence in Starkville.
Survivors include two children, Laine Dean of Starkville and John Paul Hodges Jr. of Midland, Texas; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-greatgranddaughter.
Pallbearers were Nate Barnes, Wesley Burgess, Will Davis, Kenneth Dean, Bob Glover, Brandon Kisor, Scotty Kisor and Barry Martin.
