Robert "Bob" E. Sr. passed away at the age of 85 on Thursday, March 29, 2012, at home in San Diego, CA surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 24, 1926, at St. Vincent Hospital. He was the second child of three born to Eleanor and Raymond G. Mohr. Bob was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Toledo. He graduated from Central Catholic High School, Class of 1944 to shortly thereafter enlist in the Merchant Marines during WWII. After serving he was honorably discharged and married the love of his life, Lucille "Ceil" Irma Abrams on November 13, 1946. They celebrated 62 years of marriage until her death on March 3, 2008. After working at Mohr Brothers Bottling Co. he worked as a painter for several years to eventually retire as a Business Manager for the Toledo Painters Local Union No. 7 in March of 1989. Thereafter, Bob and Ceil split residency between Toledo, OH and St. Petersburg, FL. Bob served several terms as President of Men's Club for the North Town Condo Community in St. Petersburg and loved to coordinate events for the residents. Bob loved to laugh, listen to music, garden, and spend time with his loved ones. He was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He left his mark on the world by being a charismatic, gentle-hearted, caring human being. Bob's ever-lasting patience was a trademark of who he was. He loved people and he loved life. He will be missed. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; wife, Lucille "Ceil" Mohr, and daughter, Shannon L. Mohr. Details of memorial arrangements will be announced at a later date. He will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Toledo with Ceil and alongside Shannon.
