Mildred Stanley Good 92, of Danville, died Aug. 28, 2009. She was born in Hendricks Co. on July 25, 1917 to Arthur W. and Ethel (Haworth) Stanley. Mildred graduated from Olney Friends Boarding School in Barnesville, OH. She married Donald R. Good on Sept. 17, 1939 and "went to house keeping" on their farm at that time, until her death. Don preceded her in death on Mar. 8, 2008. She was a homemaker and partnered with Don in farming and a trucking business. Mildred was a member and very active in the Hadley Friends Church, teaching Sunday School, monthly meeting clerk, and the Hadley Ladies Aid. She was a member of the former Danville Order of Eastren Star, and a volunteer for the New Winchester and Danville PTA. Services at 10:30 a.m., Mon., Aug. 31 in the Hadley Friends Church with visitation from 3-7 p.m., Sun., Aug. 30 at Weaver & Randolph Funeral Home, Danville. Burial in Hadley Cemetery. Surviving are her children, Carolyn (Mike) Goff of Marion, IN, Virginia (Bob) Moore of Danville, Larry (Patti) Good of Ottawa, IL, Kathy (Al) Jerves, LaPorte, IN, Garry (Pam) Good of Bloomington, IL, Mike (Kelly) Good of Castle Rock, CO; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Beulah Springer of Danville and Millicent Hanson of Fairland, IN. She was preceded in death by a grandchild, great-grandchild, three sisters and two brothers.
