From Contributor Paul Dickens Bolan mem# 48358891:
After reading many, many pages of the probate documents for Robert Bond's estate in Smith Co, TX it is confirmed that he died in Smith County, Texas NOT Hancock Co., MS. None of the probate documents actually stated a death date, but there is a bill/receipt for "burying" expenses dated Dec. 5, 1949. The coffin bill only has Dec 1849, no day. So I'm good with using Dec. 4, 1849 as a death date. Can you change the location? Thanks. (I'm sure he's buried somewhere in Smith Co., TX but that's a whole 'nother search! LOL!)
