TIFTON, Ga. — Marjorie King Card, 91, of Moultrie, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at Golden Living Center in Tifton, Ga.

Funeral services...at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13, at First Moultrie Holiness Deliverance Church with the Rev. Henry Brown officiating with Bishop Math Ates and co-pastor, the Rev. Doris Parrish assisting, with Bishop Gladys Hall, pastor. Burial...followed in the St. James Pallbearers Cemetery No. II.

She was born on April 15, 1918, in Worth County, to the late Willie King and Eula Blackman King. She was a devoted foster parent that opened her home and heart to so many children, said her family. She was a member of First Hope Deliverance Church in Adel, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Card; her parents; one daughter, Carrie Fountain; and one adopted son, Kenny Card.

Survivors include one adopted son, Morris Card of Tifton, Ga.; five daughters, Willie Mae Williams (Harold) of Philadelphia, Pa., Bertha Cutler of Asbury Park, N.J., Ruby Clay of Philadelphia, Pa., Betty Funches (Elous) of Moultrie, Agnes Harrison (Steve) of Tifton, Ga. and Marlow Revills (Harold) of Charlotte, S.C.; two adopted daughters, Meagan Card of Tifton, Ga. and Jenece Card of Moultrie; one step-daughter, Betty Tumblin of Moultrie; one sister, Johnnie Mae Jones of Albany, Ga.; eleven grandchildren, Eugene Merriweather (Claudia), Patricia Bailey all of Moultrie, Cynthia Madison (Dafford) of Tifton, Ga. and Anthony Edmonds, Princess Card, Michael Tumblin, Printice Merriweather, Tiffany Thomas, Charlotte Hunt, Sharnel Stephens and Sharnae Stephens all of Moultrie; one god-daughter, Joyce Brown of Moultrie; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and the staff of Golden Living Center in Tifton, Ga.
