Kathryn S. Jackson, 93, passed away on October 1, 2014 at Briarhill Nursing & Rehab. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Aubrey Waltman and T. Hardy Jackson; her parents, John J. and K.E. Serio; a brother and three sisters.

Visitation will be held 12:30 to 3:00pm Sunday October 5, 2014 at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, formerly Wright & Ferguson. A funeral service will begin at 3:00pm, following the visitation. Graveside services will be Monday, October 6, 2014 at 11:00am at Natchez City Cemetery.

Kathryn was a long-time member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Her hobbies included crocheting, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She was known for her sweet smile and infectious laugh.

Kathryn is survived by her daughters, Frances (Wayne) King, Audrey (Paul) Blakeney, and son, Frank (Mary) Waltman; 6 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

The family extends special thanks to Ozella Williams, Debra Thurman, Debra Atlas and the staff of Briarhill Nursing & Rehab for their love and dedicated care.
