Funeral services for Mrs. Botilda Birkland, 38 years of age, who died Sunday in a local hospital, will be held Friday morning at 11 o'clock from Armstrong's funeral chapel, Rev. M.R. Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the Burnsland cemetery.
Mrs. Birkland was born in Rode Kro, Denmark, and had resided in Calgary for the past year, having previously settled in Winnipeg. She leaves her husband, Christian Birkland, five sons and two daughters.
