Kenneth C. Frost, 87, of Fremont died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003 at
Manor Living Center in Fremont.

Frost was born June, 7, 1916, in Rosalie to Fred and Nellie (Sumner)
Frost. He grew up in Uehling and graduated from high school there.
After school he went to California and worked in the Kaiser
Shipyard. He married Krambeck on Oct. 8, 1942, in Reno, Nev. After
the war, they moved to Fremont. Here, he began working for the
Fremont Hatchery. Later, he entered a partnership with Arnold
Daniels, and they bought the hatchery. He retired in 1979.

He was a member of First Lutheran Church in Fremont.

Survivors include; his wife; two sons, Rod (and Wife, Sarah) Frost
of Ames and Ken (and wife, Vivian) Frost of Fremont; two
grandchildren, Stephanie Frost of Fremont and Josh (and wife,
Teresa) Frost of Fremont; a great-granddaughter, Emily Frost of
Fremont; and two brothers, Harold Frost of Muscatine, Iowa, and
Edgar (and wife, Faith) Frost of Banning, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Nellie; and three
sisters, Ruth McBroom, Blanche Shepard and Gertrude Soderling.

The funeral will be 10 a. M. Saturday at First Lutheran Church in
Fremont with the Revs. Mark Grorud and Anjanette Rist officiating.
Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. today at Ludvigsen Mortuary in
Fremont with family receiving friends from 6:30-8 p.m. Burial will
be in the Baptist Cemetery near Uehling.

A memorial has been established to First Lutheran Church Building
Fund.
