CRASH KILLS WOMAN; TWO OTHERS HURT

Two cars collided at McGuffey Road and Landsdowne Blvd at 2:50 am today with force so great it ripped the doors from one car, hurling the driver 60 feet to her death. She was pronounced dead at St Elisabeth Hospital. Her passenger was thrown 70 feet but was not seriously injured.

Killed was Mrs Rosemary Speziale Lentine, 33 of 2033 McClure Ave, driver of one car who was thrown against a concrete sign support which virtually cut her body in half. In satisfactory condition at St Elizabeth's are Mrs Candace Hollarn, 23 of 1513 Oak Lane a passenger in Mrs Lentin's car and Mrs Jenetto Bartolli, 27 of 2476 McQuiston Ave.

Taking Baby sitter Home
Ignazion said Mrs Lentine was taking her baby sitter, Mrs Hollarn, home. Mrs Bartoletti was en route home from McGuffey Lanes, where she is employed at a coffee bar.
Corner's investigators Mike Yarosh and Armund Casianta are also investigating the accident.

Mrs Lentine was born Nov 9, 1935 in Struthers, a daughter of Roserlo and Elizabeth Vivo Speziale, and moved to Youngstown nine years go from Struthers. She was a member o Immaculate Conception Church. She had been a waitress at the Mansion four years. Driver charged
Both received multiple lacerations over the body and Mrs Bartoletti also received a fractured left forearm.
Mrs Barioletti was charged late this morning with second degree vehicular homicide by Sgt Edwin Bell, traffic investigator. Igazio said she admitted to him and other witnesses the she went through thr red light.

Doubles 68 Record
The death, the eighth city traffic fatality, doubles the record at this time in 1968 and brings the Mahonng County total this year to 12, one more than this time last year.
Dr David A Belinky, cornier noted the death a traffic ruled the death a traffic accident from extensive internal and external injuries.

Traffic investigator Anthony Igazio said Mrs Lentine was driving north in Landsdown, when her auto was struck broadside by the Bartoetti vehicle, eastbound in McGuffey.

The impact ripped the doors from Mrs Lentine's two door sedan, catapulting the victim against the sign base about 60 reet away. Mrs. Hollarn was found in a vacant lot about 70 feet from the accident scene.

Services will be held at 8:30 am Tuesday at Rossi Bros Funeral Home and 9 am in the church. Friend may call from 7 to 9 pm Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Monday at the Funeral home
