Son of the late Ernest P. and Rebecca Gordon Longpre. Husband of the late Mary Alice Longpre. Father of five daughters; one son; one brother; four sisters; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family, also President, officers and members of Zulu Social Aid, Pleasure Club, members of The Golden Blade Mardi Gras Indians, and Mardi Gras Indians attended the Funeral Services on Wednesday July 30, 2014 in The Family Center of Charbonnet-Labat-Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip NOLA. Rev. Joseph Tilly officiated. Interment followed in Louisiana Veterans Cemetery 34888 Grantham College Rd, Slidell, La
