Verna I. Oswald, 86, formerly of 265 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, died Friday at 1:40 p.m. in Kutztown Manor, where she had redised since July 1993.
Her husband, Paul H. Oswald, died Oct 3, 1993.
Born in Maxatawny Township, she was a daughter of the late Joel and Elizabeth (Hilbert) Wartzenluft.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Kutztown.
Surviving are five sons: Donald R., Schnecksville, Lehigh County; Clair R., Omaha, Neb.; dallas G., Maxatawny Township; and Ivan P. and Marvin G., both of Kutztown.
Other survivors include a sister, Laila, widow of Lawrence Keim, Kutztown; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Bruce A. Oswald.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. in the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown.
