Evelyne Burrows (nee Matlin) beloved wife of the late Albert Burrows for 57 years. Loving mother of: Dan (Marian) Burrows, Shellee (Jim) Guinta and Randee (Ken) Huffer; grandmother of Rachel (Philip) Ganbarg, Jeff Burrows, Cortnee and Ryan Vas and Shane Huffer; loving sister of Dee Zemel; brother-in-law, Bernard Burrows; sister-in-laws: Marian Rubin, Ann Hoffman, Sylvia Solk; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 9,2006 at 11 a.m. at the Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Avenue, Munster, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. Rabbi Raphael Ostrovsky will officiate. Burial will be at Beth El Cemetery in Portage, Indiana. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Mrs. Burrows grew up in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, but spent most of her adult life in Gary and Munster, Indiana. She worked for many years at Lew Wallace High School. Mrs. Burrows was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her loving family and many friends
