Former corset and fashion model and mother of the legendary Mae West.

The Doelger family Americanized their name, spelling it variously Delker and Dilker.Tillie immigrated from Bavaria with her family in 1886. She and Jack married 18Jan1889. They had four children together. The first child, Katie, died as an infant. Tillie and daughter Mary Jane, later Mae, were always close, Tillie supporting Mae in all her work decisions and praising the results. At her mother's death, Mae was shattered, and moved her operation to California.
