Actor. He will be best remembered for playing 'Mark Wilson' in the TV series "Land of the Giants" (1968 to 1970). After dropping out of high school at the age of sixteen, he joined the United States Army Airborne Division. He saw action during the Korean War and was awarded a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart from injuries he sustained in an explosion. Upon his return home, he served as a police officer in his native Detroit and studied pre law at Wayne University. His first experience in performing was with the Vanguard Playhouse. Leaving law enforcement behind, he moved to California to fully focus on a career in entertainment and landed his first TV role in a 1962 episode of "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour." He later appeared in numerous soap operas including "Days of Our Lives," "Falcon Crest" and "Santa Barbara." He died from lung cancer.
