Mrs. Hilda Moody, age 88, of Jackson passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Moody and is survived by her daughters, Ruth Lee and her husband Ray of Sharpsburg, Esther Sharon Morris and her husband Bob of Jackson; sisters, Louise Jackson of Port Orange, FL, Maxine Manale and her husband Mac St. Louis, MS, Edith Matarress of Metairie, LA; grandchildren, Crystal Colburn and her husband Darrell, Stephen Rhodes and his wife Michelle, Tiffany Carroll and her husband Wayne; 12 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 4 o'clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Mayo officiating. Interment will follow at College Park Cemetery. Those wishing may sign the online guestbook at www.parrottfuneralhome.com.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory, 770-964-4800.
