Film Director. He is remembered as one of the first and few Italian film directors to try their hand with the science fiction movies with works such as the film 'Space Men' (1960) and the science fiction series 'Gamma 1' (1965). He worked (uncredited) as second unit director and special effects creator with Paul Morrissey and Andy Warhol in the implementation of the cult movie 'Flesh for Frankenstein' (1973) and 'Andy Warhol's Blood for Dracula' (1974). In 1987, he directed the television series 'L'isola del tesoro', one of the most expensive Italian television film productions and the first blockbuster entirely produced by Radiotelevisione italiana. His other film credits include notably films such as 'Ursus, il terrore dei Kirghisi' (1964), 'La morte viene dal pianeta Aytin' (1967), 'Apocalisse domani' (1980), 'Alien degli abissi' (1987) and 'Potenza virtuale' (1997).
