Karla Mays, 94, of Blytheville, Arkansas, passed from this life Monday, May 26, 2014, at her home.
Born in Glass, Tennessee to Carl and Fannie Wilson Boone.
She was a homemaker and a member of Beacon Baptist Church. Karla was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed working in her yard and playing board games. She loved her church and played the piano for many years at Beacon Baptist and at Lone Oak Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene "Jack" Mays; daughter Martha Kelley; grandson Billy Cline; brother Charles Boone and sister Margaret Wright.
Karla is survived by her son Glin Mays of Blytheville, Arkansas; daughters Jean Webb and husband Jerry, of Athens, Tennessee and Nita Harris of Blytheville, Arkansas; grandchildren Josh Cline, Joel Webb and Kayci Wilcox and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services were in Zion Cemetery in Obion, Tennessee.
