SCHULZ

Mrs. Augusta Schulz, a resident of Davenport for 50 years, died at 9:40 p.m. Thursday in her home at 1827 West Sixth street, following an extended illness. She was 77 years of old.

Born in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, in 1865, she received her education in schools there, coming to America in her youth. She was married to Louie Schulz in Davenport in 1896. Mr.Schulz died in 1932 and she has resided here since.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. August Jacobsen, Letcher, S. D.; two sons, Rudulph and Arthur, both of Davenport; a step-son, Louie Schulz, also of Davenport; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Leemhus and Mrs. Fritz Weekhorst, both of Davenport; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Runge mortuary where funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
