ROBERT L. ELLIS, 87, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., formerly of Munford, Tenn., vice president and director of Munford Union Bank and former circuit court clerk for Tipton County, died Friday at Adams Place Nursing Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Munford Funeral Home with burial in Helen Crigger Cemetery. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of Munford First United Methodist Church. Mr. Ellis, the husband of Helen LaFont Ellis, also leaves a daughter, Georgeanne Ellis Easley of Smyrna, Tenn.; two sons, Bobby Ellis of Jackson, Tenn., and Gary Ellis of Memphis; a sister, Caroly Ellis Murphy of Munford, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
