In memory of Simmie Griffin
On April 22, 1918, the death angel visited the home of our beloved brother and sister, Mr. Mrs. Clifford Griffin and took from them their precious son, Simmie, whose stay on earth was to short. He was just 14 years and 11 days old at the time of his death. Simmie was so bright and useful in the home. he was so sweet, loving, kidn and good to his loved ones.
Oh how how they will miss his sweet and the footstep in the home, and the errands he ran in and around the home. he was the spokesman for the family, his precious fathe rand mother can neither hear nor talk. he always me the baby with outstretched arms to greet her and Oh how she loved him. he would hear its cries at night and awaken its mother to attend to it. Oh ohw he will be missed by this precious father and mother.
He leaves his father, mother, 1 brother, 2 sisters, a grandfather, grandmother and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his death.
the funeral was conducted by Rev. Chester Adams at Ebenezer Church and his remains laid to rest to await the Resurrection morn.
