Mrs. Versie Gregory, age 37 resident of Slavens community died Thursday june 6,1968 enroute to University Hospital,Lexington , KY Mrs. Gregory suffered head injuries earlier in week and was admitted to Scott county hospital for treatment when her condition worsened Thursday she was being transferred to Lexington but died enroute.
the deceased was born Aug. 10, 1930 in Slaven,the daughter Bud and Emma Vaughn Gregory she was a life lone resident of Slaven community and a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church
Survivors are husband her James Gregory her parents a son Robert Gregory and three Children by a former marriage Robert Vaughn and Patricia Vaughn all living at Slavens and Pvt L.D. Vaughn of fort Knox.
Also Survivors are Brother Schyler Gregory Edison Gregory Coolidge Gregory all living at Slavens, Guy Gregory of Revelo and two sister Laura Gregory at Slavens Mrs. Dave Roberts
Graveside services were held Sunday,at 2pm with Rev. Robert Vaughn Rev. Hobart Vaughn officiating burial in the Bud Gregory Cemetery
