Eva Cogan Hurwitz, a native of Norfolk, died Sept. 27, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital. Mrs. Hurwitz was the daughter of the late Morris and Bessie Cogan. She was the widow of Louis Edward Hurwitz and was a member of B'Nai Israel Temple in Norfolk. Survivors include two daughters, three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in B'Nai Israel Cemetery by Rabbi Israel Bornstein. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
