THEY DIED OF A MALIGNANT FEVER, WHICH DESOLATED SO MANY
HEARTS AND HOMES IN THE AUTUMN OF 1857.
THIS STONE IS RAISED BY THEIR FRIENDS AS A JUST TRIBUTE TO
THEIR MANY VIRTUES, AND AS AN EXPRESSION OF THE DEEP REGRET
THEY FEEL AT THEIR SAD BEREAVEMENT.
