He was born September 18, 1956, in San Bonito, TX, to Jose and Maria Sanchez Mendiola.
Jesse was a maintenance man at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac for 38 years. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Winamac. Jesse enjoyed running. He competed in Two Chicago Marathons and two Indianapolis Mini Marathons. He enjoyed spending time with all of his family members. Jesse was an auto racing fan and sports enthusiest. He was an avid Raiders fan.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM Friday, March 7, 2014, at Frain Mortuary, Winamac, IN with Rev. Leroy Kinnaman officiating. Burial will take place in St. Peter's Cemetery, Winamac, IN. Visitation will be from 3-7 PM EDT Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Frain Mortuary.
Memorial Contributions may be given to Pulaski Memorial Hospice.
