Jerry was born in Merced, CA on December 21, 1951 and went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 12, 2014, in Encinitas, CA. He graduated from Chowchilla High School in 1970 and attended CSU, Fresno. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He was an active member of St. John's Catholic Church in Encinitas, CA. He was a member of the church choir and the Holy Name Society. He was instrumental in starting the Lenten "fish fry" - a fun church social dinner. Recently, he and his wife, Halina, moved to Catalina Island where he continued his love of golf, visiting with people and just walking the beach front.
A viewing will be held on Monday, February 17th, at El Camino Memorial Encinitas Chapel from 4-8 pm, with a rosary starting at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 18th, at St. John's Catholic Church in Encinitas at 11 am.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 20th, at Chowchilla Memorial Cemetery at noon.

In Jerry's honor, remembrances may be made to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of San Diego or to the donor's favorite charity.
