Herman Rohm, 70, a lifelong Yonkers resident, died
Tuesday at St. Joseph's Medical Center after a brief illiness. Born April 29, 1910 in Yonkers, he attended schools here.
Mr. Rohm worked as a painter for 45 years before retiring three years ago. He had been a member of Local 250 Yonkers Painters Union.
He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth Kleis, who he married May 16, 1936.
He is also survived by three sisters, Martha Odette, of Sacramento, Calif., Lillian Rau, of Pennsylvania, and Sylvia Schroeder, of White Plains. Dear friend of many.
Reposing at the FORASTIERE FUNERAL HOME, 57 Park Hill Ave. Yonkers Funeral Friday April 10, 930 a m Funeral Mass Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 10 a.m. Interment Oakland Cemetery. Chapel hours 7-9 Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
