Robert Morris, 81, of Marshall, formerly of Arcola, died at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday (Feb. 12, 2014) at home.
He was born April 14, 1932 in Humboldt to Dewey and Mary Margaret (Guill) Morris. He married Patricia McLane April 29, 1955 in Ft. Lee, VA. She passed away February 7, 2002. A brother, William Morris and a sister, Karen Hohlbauch also preceded him in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Morris; one son, David (Denita) Morris; 2 grandsons; 5 great-grandchildren; one brother, Leonard "George" (Marge) Morris and one sister, Pauline Lawrence.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a High School Math teacher. He started his teaching career in Nokomis and Cisne and retired from Marshall High School in 1989 after 32 years of service.
