Bertha was my Paternal Great Grandmother. Bertha and Eliza were married August 1st, 1901 in Cannon Co. Tennessee. She and Eliza were the loving Parents of three beautiful Daughters. I am descended from her eldest Daughter Irene, Irene's son Herbert, Herbert's daughter Donna (ME). I've heard many loving stories of my Great Grandmother from her daughter; one of how she loved to sit and have her hair brushed, and how she would lovingly smile when you finished.
