Joseph ten Brink ( Later changed to Ten-Brink) was the son of Joe ten Brink of Holland, Michigan. He was of Dutch descent. He was the spouse of Olive Alberta Hadley Ten-Brink and was the father of 6 children. He served in the united states military during WWII and resided in Denver, Colorado most of his life. He was a cab driver for many years, a bird watcher and an avid golf player.
In 1987 at the death of his oldest grandson in a robbery, Joe withdrew from his family. Before his death he located his youngest daughter who he had never seen and had a brief and endearing reunion.
In April of 1998 under alot of strain and in a lot of pain health wise, he took his own life.
