On November 30, 2003, Todd Staheli and his wife Michelle were found murdered in their Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, condominium bedroom in an area of Rio called Barra da Tijuca and known as "Brazilian Miami." Their son and three daughters were also home asleep when the attack occurred but were unharmed.
