SALISBURY - Sarah Brown Snider, age 83, of Salisbury, passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at the Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks.
Mrs. Snider was born Aug. 30, 1929, in Birmingham, Ala., the daughter of the late Joseph Ernest Brown and Cora Bean Brown. She was a graduate of Spencer High School Class of 1947 and attended Catawba College.
Sarah was employed with Seacrest Petroleum Company in Boynton Beach, Fla., which was owned and operated by her husband until her retirement. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Roy H. Snider Jr. of Salisbury; and a sister Mary Lee Brown Johnson of Greensboro.
Visitation: Monday 2-3 pm. in the Library of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Service: Following visitation at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of St. John's Lutheran Church with Rev. Rhodes Woolly officiating. Entombment will follow at Rowan Memorial Park.
Memorials: May be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 200 W. Innes St., Salisbury, NC 28144.
