Corinne Campbell, 97, of Paris passed from the life on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Paris Oaks House. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, at Fry Gibbs Chapel with Jimmy Heavener and Rev. Randall Scott officiating. Burial will follow at the Chicota/Presbyterian cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 – 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
Corinne was born on June 10, 1933 in Chicota, Texas the daughter of Trenver and Edna Collins Shipman. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church
She married Bernice Mart Campbell on July 5, 1933. He preceded her in death on January 31, 2000 after 65 years of marriage.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, grandson Richard Parsons and great granddaughter, Kandace Campbell; 1 sister and 3 brothers.
She is survived by her daughter Cornice Clark and husband Al of Paris, sons Buddy Campbell and wife Phyllis of Farwell, MI and James Larry Campbell and wife Linda of Joshua; grandchildren Randy Parsons, Kevin Parsons, Brian Campbell, Stevie Campbell, Valerie Campbell, Steve Clark, Julie Rogers; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild
