MARGARET SCHREMP (nee Ferencz), age 83, of Sheffield Township, died Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at her residence following a brief illness. She was born July 31, 1920 in Lorain, Ohio and had been a life-long area resident.

She was a 1938 graduate of Clearview High School and had been employed by that school system for many years in cafeteria services at high school and Durling Elementary School.

A parishioner of Saint Nicholas Byzantine Rite Catholic Church in Lorain, she was a member of Greek Catholic Union Lodge # 125 , the Ohio Public School Retirees Organization, and the American Association of Retired Persons. She was a devout reader who had a special interest in the areas of fiction, non-fiction, and biographies. Additional hobbies included all forms of word puzzles and brainteasers.

Margaret is survived by her daughters: Cynthia A. Moeller of Lorain, and Pamela S. Schremp of Concord Township, five grandchildren, one great granddaughter, a brother: Robert Ferencz of Elyria, and sisters: Ann Dombrowski of Avon Lake, Irene Kacsandi of Avon, and Ethel Bozik of Lorain. She was preceded in death by her husband: Donald in 1971, by a son: Timothy in 1989, and by her parents: John and Anna (nee Holinda) Ferencz.
