German Navy WWII battleship. The Graf Spee launched June 30, 1934 and spent most of its short life active in the South Atlantic. It sustained damage on December 13, 1939 in a fight against the British ships, Exeter, Ajax and Achilles in Rio de la Plata/Southamerica. After this fight the Capain (Langsdorff) wanted to enter the port of Montevideo to fix some damage, but he was not welcome. The crew the ship on his orders and he brought the ship to the three mile zone and let it explode. He died later by his own hand.
