Actor. He was born as Modesto Llosas Rosell in Aldaia (Valencia) and died in Mexico D.F. He debuted on stage in the company of Enrique Borrás. Soon, he moved to the cinema, where debuted in 1944, becoming one of the leading man in spanish an mexican cinema and an international star. Sadly, his popularity declined and suffering from cancer, he commited suicide from gunshot at the age of 61. Among his films "Las Inquietudes de Shanti Andia" (1946), "Botón de Ancla" (1948), "Currito de la Cruz" (1948), "La Duquesa de Benamejí" (1948), "Pequeñeces" (1950), "Amar fue su Pecado" (1951), "El Conde de Montecristo" (1953), "Un Caballero Andaluz" (1954), "La Venganza" (1957), "Boy on a Dolphin" (1957), "La Spada e la Croce" (1958), "La Chamaca" (1960), "La Piel Desnuda" (also director) (1964) and "La Invasión de los Muertos" (1971).
