Belfield Brown was the son of William Brown and Sarah "Sallie" Wood. He married Sarah A. "Sallie" Denton November 29, 1863 at Jamestown, Russell Co., Kentucky and Lydia Carrie Reed Boden Russell on February 23, 1922 at Hartville, Wright Co., Missouri. He died from a heart attack. He was my great-grandfather. Belfield served in the Union Army during the Civil War in Company I, 30th. Regiment of Kentucky Mounted Infantry Volunteers.
