Funeral services for Sylvia E. Carver, former Ellensburg resident, who died Wednesday in Tacoma hospital, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the First Presbyterian Church of Ellensburg. Officiating will be the Rev. Robert Haver of Tacoma. Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery.
A native of Iowa, Mrs. Carver attended schools in Tacoma was a school teacher in Puyallup before her marriage to James A. Carver, Kittitas Vally rancher. After the death of her husband in 1948, Mrs. Carver moved to the coast and for the past several years resided in Tacoma. She was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church in Seattle.
She is survived by a brother, Eugene R. Craven, Toppenish and a sister, Mrs. June Fowles, Olympia. Selene and Eros Mortuary, Olympia, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
