Raymond McCann, 89, of Woodbury, formerly of Austin, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, at his home.
He was born June 18, 1914, in Aurora, Mo., to Mason and Lillie (Taylor) McCann. He graduated from the University of Missouri at Columbia and was employed as a civil engineer for the Milwaukee Railroad. In 1966 they moved to Austin, where he resided until moving to Woodbury last year. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his children, Judy Huber, San Jose, Calif.; Robert and Cynthia McCann, Milwaukee, Wis.; Carol McCann, Roseville; Ronald and Lana McCann, Woodbury; nine grandchildren; sisters, Clara Doran, Joplin, Mo.; Marie Oetker, Aurora, Mo.; brother, Chester McCann, Joplin, Mo.; nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, 2003, at the funeral home and Tuesday at the church for one hour before the service.
Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Michael Olmsted officiating.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Austin.
Funeral Home: Clasen-Jordan Mortuary, Austin.
