Mrs. Rose Lodyga, 131 N. Jackson St., died at 10:15 p.m. Thursday in her residence after an illness of two months. She was born in Poznan, Poland, July 16, 1891, and came to South Bend as an infant. Her husband, Joseph, died Sept. 17, 1943. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Regina Lisek, Mrs. Veronica Niemier, Mrs. Helen Bikowski and Mrs. Mary Ann Chudzicki, all of South Bend ; three sons, Victor of South Bend, Stanley of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Louis of St. Joseph, Mich.; 21 grandchildren and a great-grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Orlowski, Mrs. Sophie Ring and Mrs. Verna Kurdys, all of South Bend, and three brothers, Louis Pierson and Casimir Przybylski, both of South Bend, and Walter Pierson of Berrien Springs, Mich.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Saturday in the St. Joseph Funeral home. Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with Rev. Sigmund Jankowski, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Mrs. Lodyga was a member of the Apostleship of Prayer.

Funeral services were held this morning in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church for Mrs. Rose Lodyga, 131 N. Jackson St., who died Thursday. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery. Pallbearers were William Niemier, Michael Lodyga, John Bikowski and Thomas, David and Theodore Lisek.
