GLOUCESTER - Charles Edward 'Tinker' Curry, 55, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2005. He was born in Alexandria, Va., and was the son of the late Kenneth and Margaret Clark Curry. He was a member of Petsworth Baptist Church and the owner of Charles Curry General Hauling. He is survived by his wife, Joanne Darnell Curry; his children, Stephanie Sutton of Williamsburg, Samantha Clark, Tina DeFigio, and Charles Steven Curry, all of Gloucester; a sister, Patricia Ronk of West Point; two brothers, Robert Curry of West Point and Ronnie Curry of Chesapeake; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Curry Jr. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, in Petsworth Baptist Church by the Rev. Dennis Hollandsworth. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday at Andrews Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to either the Building Fund of Petsworth Baptist Church, 2471 Hickory Fork Road, Gloucester, VA 23061; or to Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue, P.O. Box 1417, Gloucester, VA 23061. Funeral arrangements are by Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, Va.
