Rosella Margaret Horner, 80, State College, died Saturday April 16, 2005, at the Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born April 18, 1924, in the Bellefonte Hospital, she was a daughter of the late Waldo E. and Anna B. Sunday Homan. On Oct. 9, 1939, she married George M. Horner, who died on Aug. 19, 1980. She was a member of the Houserville United Methodist Church. She was also a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary Military Order of the Purple Heart. She is survived by two daughters, Joan E. Dills, and her husband Ron, of State College, Janet M. Hammers and her husband Pat, of Warriors Mark: two sons, William G. Horner and his wife Barbara, of Cape Coral, FL, D. Fred Horner and his wife Sue, of Petersburg; a brother; Fred E. Homan and his wife Ella, of State College; a sister-in-law; Betty Homan, of Centre Hall; six grandchildren; George E. Dills and his wife April, of Spring Mills, Michael E. Horner and his wife Michele, of State College, Brenda A. Horner, of Cape Coral, FL, Becky A. Shannon and her husband Chris, of Lehigh Acres, FL, Patrick H. Hammers II, of Warriors Mark, Albert G. Hammers of Triangle, VA; four great-grandchildren; Mercedes Horner, Sarah Dills, Alexandra and Dominic Shannon. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, David, Eugene, Blair and Paul; and a sister, Miriam Stiffler.
