Carol (Peters) Russell, 60, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 1999 at Sutter Hospital in Merced, Calif. She was born June 23, 1939. Her survivors include her daughter, Stacy Russell of Denver, Colo; sons, Larry of Merced, Calif., and Jeff of Las Vegas, Nevada; one grandson, Jefferson of Las Vegas, Nevada; sisters, Rita Peters of Glenwood, Iowa, Lois and husband Mike Rupe of Glenwood, Iowa. Mary Peters of Chicago, Ill., and Patricia and her husband Bill McCarter of Hay Springs; brother Ronald and wife Connie of Hay Springs. A memorial service will be held Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Nov. 6, at St. Columbkille Catholic Church of Hay Springs with father Robert Karnish officiating. Burial will be at the St. Mary's Cemetery in Hay Springs. Chamberlain-Drabbels is in charge of the arrangements.
